Take part in an amazing weekend - get to know more about the Philippines through fun- filled activities and workshops. Enjoy the intense cultural immersion which is task-oriented and interactive which will gently make you communicate in the Filipino language within real life contexts. You will be involve in a range of activities including music, dancing and cooking.
The 2009 Youth Camp will be run by the Staff of the Penrith Community Filipino (PCFS) and volunteers from the Philippine Language and Cultural Association of Australia (PLCAA). Parents are welcome to serve as volunteers.
Participants in the 2009 Youth Camp will gain cultural appreciation and an understanding of Philippine values and traditions. They will be equipped to be camp volunteers in future Philippine heritage youth camp if interested.
