Teresa Garbo's Paintings
Maria Teresa Garbo - Graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Advertising from Technology University of the Philippines,Manila. A freelance artist and painter, illustrator for school materials and has participated in painting competitions.
A Sydney based Filipino artist, paints in a pointillist manner, building up overlapping layers that allows portions of the underpainting to show through. Picking up from Australian aboriginal art, he applies small dots of paint in bright primary colours.
He was the 1997 and 1999 First Prize winner of the Panthers Annual Australian Day Art Competitions. He won the commission as the migrant artists who interpreted the "Journey of Blacktown" for the State rail Authority, a large mural on display at the Blacktown Bus/Rail Interchange.

Sonata Senior's Group was initially an informal group who willingly represented various senior citizens organizations. Under the direction of their choirmaster, Loi Tagudin, they are now formally known as Sonata Seniors Group and are representing SAFSI, Sydney Australian-Filipino Seniors Inc.

The choir acts as Penrith's Ambassador of Philippine culture through their musical performance and they take pride in their team-spirited enthusiasm and dedication in delivering musical performaces that the community will enjoy.
